Position Overview

Salary: $38,000 - $40,000

The role of the Site Coordinator is crucial for the effective management of programs and the development of partnerships within designated educational environments. This position will utilize the Communities In Schools (CIS) Model to evaluate and address the needs of at-risk youth, while also implementing tiered interventions and support systems for the entire student body.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the effective execution of the CIS Model and TQS Student Support Standards.
  • Work collaboratively with educational staff to assess, identify, and prioritize the needs of students.
  • Lead a School Support team tasked with overseeing all CIS operations at the designated school.
  • Conduct comprehensive annual needs assessments using diverse data sources to inform the School Support Plan.
  • Develop a detailed School Support Plan, outlining Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions and support strategies.
  • Manage cases for a minimum of 50 identified students, delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to student and school requirements.
  • Systematically collect, enter, and report student data on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and adjust the progress towards goals outlined in the School Support Plan, as well as the progress of individual students, making necessary adjustments to interventions.
  • Engage with parents or legal guardians of case-managed students.
  • Provide timely updates and reports with relevant data and program information to the direct supervisor.
  • Review goals with case-managed students on a monthly basis.
  • Promote the CIS mission, vision, and initiatives within the community as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and manage community volunteers as required.
  • Evaluate community partners annually to ensure alignment with student needs.
  • Provide leadership in securing community resources and partnerships that enhance students' physical and academic well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing personal and professional development, including CISSC and National CIS training.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary for the successful operation of programs.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to see, hear, speak, and travel, as well as the capacity to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, social services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Strong sensitivity to the needs of children, youth, and their families.
  • Technological proficiency in office systems, including spreadsheet development, word processing, email, and CISDM.
  • Previous experience with student data or case management systems is highly preferred.
