Providence Extended Care is excited to offer numerous CNA positions, including Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem opportunities.


The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing essential nursing and household tasks to foster a resident-centered approach to care within a cottage environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities and promote engagement in life.
  • Collaborate within a self-managed team to coordinate care tasks and household responsibilities.
  • Work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff (RN or LPN) and receive guidance from the Dietary Manager regarding dining services.


Our facility features eight cottages and a Commons Building, accommodating 96 residents in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each cottage is designed to feel like home, with private bedrooms, communal living areas, and access to outdoor spaces.

Qualifications:


Required:

  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.


Preferred:

  • At least 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.
