Position Overview
Providence is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide essential support in a healthcare setting. Our mission is to deliver compassionate care that is accessible to all, particularly to those who are most in need.
Incentives
Eligible full-time external hires may receive a hiring bonus of up to $2,500 along with relocation assistance, contingent upon meeting the necessary qualifications and conditions.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours per week, with options for either day or night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the bedside RN and charge nurse, the CNA will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, families, and healthcare providers. Duties include:
- Maintaining clear communication regarding patient needs.
- Assisting in creating a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Supporting patient-focused care through effective teamwork.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a Certified Nurse Aide training program or equivalent education/experience.
- Successful completion of a Medical Terminology course or passing a hospital Medical Terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- Possession of an Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
