We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by nursing staff
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Terminology course or successful completion of a hospital Medical Terminology test within 90 days of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire
- Preferred qualifications: completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant and 6 months of healthcare experience
