Position Overview
Providence Health & Services is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for various roles including Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem positions.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing essential nursing and household tasks aimed at fostering a resident-centered care model within a supportive environment.

The responsibilities focus on assisting residents with daily living activities and promoting engagement in life activities.

The CNA collaborates within a self-managed team to effectively coordinate daily care routines, resident engagement, and household management.

Under the guidance of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN), the CNA also receives specific instructions from the Dietary Manager regarding meal services.


Facility Overview
Providence Extended Care operates in a community that features multiple cottages designed to accommodate 96 residents, fostering a homelike atmosphere. Each cottage is equipped with 12 private bedrooms and bathrooms, centered around a cozy living area with a hearth. The open kitchen design allows residents and visitors to enjoy the warmth and aromas of home cooking. Each cottage also includes a Den, Spa, and beauty/barber shop station, along with a patio for outdoor access and gardening activities.

Qualifications
Required:
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

Preferred:
- At least 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver
