Position Overview: This role is responsible for executing routine and specialized cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including patient areas, administrative offices, corridors, flooring, and communal spaces, ensuring the establishment remains in a hygienic, secure, and visually appealing state.

Key Attributes:
  • Experience in Environmental Services is preferred.
  • Prior floor care experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts daily cleaning activities in designated areas, including washing ceilings and walls, mopping corridors, staircases, and public spaces, as well as washing, waxing, and vacuuming floors.
  • Operates manual, battery-operated, and electric cleaning equipment; utilizes tools such as mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, scrubbers, and vacuums; maintains cleaning equipment and janitorial closets; monitors assigned areas and equipment for necessary repairs and reports to supervisor.
  • As required, collects and disposes of waste, soiled linens, and trash in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborates with Supervisor and Project Planner on inter-office relocations, moving furniture and other items as necessary.
  • Adheres to standard safety protocols, utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
COMPENSATION SUMMARY:
The stated base pay range reflects a good faith estimate of potential base compensation for a successful full-time candidate. This may be adjusted in the future and may include additional pay components. Compensation is influenced by factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
