Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at Island Hospitality Management. As an Office Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Relations Management
    • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Take a proactive approach to resolving guest concerns and issues.
    • Extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times.
  • Operations Management
    • Prepare and submit accurate reports to management team.
    • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
    • Create reservations for guests as requested.
    • Maintain knowledge of local health and safety codes and regulations.
    • Ensure guest service is the driving philosophy of the resort.
    • Respond to guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Follow financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables.
    • Identify and correct potential security problems.
    • Follow brand and IHM standards for interacting with guests.
    Requirements
    • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
    • Excellent communication, computer, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
    • Effective handling of problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
