About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Automotive - MFG team. As a key member of our team, you will lead Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for AWS' Advanced Computing for Automotive-MFG, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your deep expertise to understand the most important customer problems in your region and enable account-aligned teams in the field to solve them.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within your domain.
  • Bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to ensure we are prioritizing the building of the right features and services for our customers.
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your respective tech domain and geography.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.

The WWSO Automotive & Manufacturing team positions AWS as the best place to run Advanced Computing workloads. Our team helps customers build Autonomous Mobility solutions on AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential.

Experience with the Auto/Manufacturing industry, experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders, are highly valued. A deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms, is also essential. If you have a technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS, that's a plus.
