Position Summary

As the Field Operations Supervisor at CS Contract Solutions, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality, safety, and training aspects of our field operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the service delivery of our field technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and skills to excel in their roles. A background in Copper and Fiber Installation and Repair is highly desirable, along with proven leadership and collaboration abilities, as this position oversees multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equip staff with the necessary resources and skills to support operational initiatives.
  • Enforce compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide effective leadership and motivation to team members.
  • Identify training needs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance company performance and achieve optimal results.
  • Execute special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Conduct thorough post-quality field inspections within the designated region.
  • Perform real-time safety and tools inspections as required.
  • Complete a minimum of 30 inspections weekly.
  • Facilitate post-onboarding training and support for field technicians.
  • Assist in coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present safety and quality topics during weekly meetings.
  • Frequent travel within the assigned region is necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing teams in a telecom technical environment.
  • Strong background in employee development, including training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, email, Word, and legacy systems.
  • Familiarity with installation and maintenance of residential and business services, as well as local network processes.
  • Understanding of splicing and construction processes within the telecommunications sector.
  • Knowledge of contractor relations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with others.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with strict deadlines.
  • College-level education or equivalent experience (5+ years related experience may substitute for education).
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience managing teams in a telecom technical environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of POTS and HSI.
  • Experience with Excel, email, and legacy systems for 2+ years.
  • Duty management will be scheduled on a rotational basis, with pager duty required.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including potential mandatory overtime and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong prioritization skills for managing multiple projects under pressure.
  • Ability to negotiate timelines and meet critical deadlines.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to complete assignments.

Compensation

This is a full-time, salary-based position.
