Role: Senior Field Service Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in Camarillo, CA

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular on-site services, including Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ), system setups, and preventive maintenance on bioreactors, ensuring reliability and thorough documentation.
  • Diagnose and address complex hardware and software issues related to bioreactors through various communication channels, including calls, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Serve as a vital internal resource for defining user requirements for product development, relaying customer feedback to the internal team as necessary.
  • Utilize modeling tools to simulate and evaluate systems and subsystems effectively.
  • Communicate findings and requirements clearly across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, accompanied by over 5 years of experience in electromechanical equipment manufacturing.
  • Practical experience with bioprocess equipment.
  • Strong comprehension of bioreactor operations and components.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor, with the ability to establish rapport quickly.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, potentially up to two weeks each month.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
