The Role:

As a Transformer Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the transformer production process, including:

  • Interpreting Bills of Materials (BOM), drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Selecting and preparing necessary materials, tools, and equipment for tasks.
  • Gathering and preparing all required parts and materials, then performing assembly of components.
  • Operating cranes and hoists as needed.
  • Conducting repairs both inside and outside of tanks.
  • Training and mentoring new team members in assembly processes.
  • Maintaining quality and production documentation.
  • Carrying out any related tasks as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:

Basic:
  • Ability to work evening or night shifts.
  • Willingness to work limited overtime.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
  • Basic mathematics and computation skills.
  • Adherence to assigned schedules.
  • Proficiency in basic English communication.
  • Must have current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Completion of job interview, pre-employment drug screening, and background check is required.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; drug screening includes THC.
Preferred:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing.
Salary Range:

$21.64 to $23.01
