Job Summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various valve parts, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and assemble valve parts from production work orders.
  • Load and unload assemblies from the furnace, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect braze and weld joints for defects, making necessary adjustments to machines as needed.
  • Replace electrodes on welders and install internal parts, such as diaphragms and spiders, into power element assemblies.
  • Load and unload valve final assemblies into test equipment and run tests to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Paint and cure components or sub-assemblies as required.
  • Dispose of materials and clean equipment as needed.
  • Participate in High Performance Teams and lean events to continuously improve processes and productivity.
  • Follow safety procedures and safe work practices, adhering to the company's 5S program.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience and/or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
