Electrical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team at WEG Transformers USA. As an Electrical Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of transformers, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and specifications to complete assignments without supervision.
- Selection and preparation of materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete tasks.
- Obtaining and/or preparing all necessary parts and materials, then performing assigned assembly of appropriate parts.
- Operating cranes and hoist as needed.
- Performing repairs, either inside or outside tank.
- Training, assisting, and mentoring new team members in assembly.
- Maintaining quality and production records.
- Performing any related tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.
- Ability to work evening or night shift.
- Able to work limited overtime.
- Able to work limited overtime on Saturdays and/or Sundays, if necessary.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
- Adhere to assigned schedule.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic English communications.
- Resides or intends to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
- Has current work authorization for employment within the United States.
- Internal candidates: bid process per Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- External candidates: must complete job interview, pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
- Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
$21.64 to $23.01 per hour, plus $0.75 per hour shift premium.
