Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Assembler to join our team at WEG Transformers USA. As an Industrial Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks in the production of a transformer, including reading and understanding Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and work instructions to complete assignments without supervision. You will also be responsible for selecting and preparing materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete tasks, obtaining and preparing all necessary parts and materials, and performing assigned assembly of appropriate parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and work instructions to complete assignments without supervision.
  • Select and prepare materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete tasks.
  • Obtain and prepare all necessary parts and materials, then perform assigned assembly of appropriate parts.
  • Operate cranes and hoist as needed.
  • Perform repairs, either inside or outside tank.
  • Train, assist, and mentor new team members in assembly.
  • Maintain quality and production records.
  • Perform any related tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.
Requirements
  • Ability to work evening or night shift.
  • Able to work limited overtime.
  • Able to work limited overtime on Saturdays and/or Sundays, if necessary.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
  • Adhere to assigned schedule.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic English communications.
  • Resides or intends to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
  • Has current work authorization for employment within the United States.
