Position Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to fulfill the role of Culinary Event Support Staff. This position is on an as-needed basis, depending on our busy event calendar and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present seasonal menus with precision and creativity.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
  • Follow the Chef's instructions with a positive and proactive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary or restaurant settings.
  • Possession of a complete knife kit is required.
  • References from previous culinary roles are necessary.
  • Regular access to a computer is essential.
  • Experience with cooking in a proofer is advantageous.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and professional appearance.
  • A New York City Food Handler's Certificate is a plus.
