We are seeking an experienced Insurance Authorization Coordinator with a minimum of two years in the field. Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, confirm, and relay essential information to clients' insurance providers to secure necessary diagnostic and behavioral health benefits along with prior authorization.
  • Assess member eligibility and verify behavioral health benefits.
  • Prepare and complete an Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
  • Ensure service payments by validating benefits with insurance providers.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to confirm that any modifications to authorization requests or referral forms are duly submitted.
  • Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, within a collaborative team environment of 4 to 5 members.
Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of two years in insurance authorization within a healthcare context is required. Experience in Behavioral or Mental Health settings is preferred, with additional consideration for those familiar with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Strong customer service skills are essential.
