Position Summary

The Payroll Operations Coordinator plays a vital role within the Human Resources division, tasked with managing the weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe). This position is crucial for ensuring accurate payroll processing and generating various wage-related reports to assist local management.

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) stands as a premier Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Powertrain Electric (PE) systems, essential components in the production of electric vehicles, utilizing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.


Key Responsibilities (The following duties are essential for this role; additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.)

  • Oversee the payroll cycle workflow to guarantee all payroll transactions are accurately processed and reconciled, utilizing advanced Excel calculations.
  • Ensure timely and precise processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly expatriate payrolls.
  • Input personal master data into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including wage details, tax withholdings, and direct deposit information.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee payroll records.
  • Verify timesheets and clock data, ensuring compliance with established policies and processing rules.
  • Generate and analyze attendance audit reports to identify discrepancies and rectify payroll issues prior to processing.
  • Provide tailored reports to Headquarters, Finance, and Production departments upon request.
  • Conduct accounting reconciliations, manage returned funds, and handle ACH rejects.
  • Assist new employees in completing necessary state and federal documentation as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal payroll regulations and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective interpersonal abilities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in processing payroll using standard operating systems.
  • Ability to manage time and projects effectively to meet payroll and reporting deadlines accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of SAP and best practices in timekeeping.
