MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is a leading Tier 1 supplier specializing in Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Powertrain Electronics (PE) systems, essential components in the production of electric vehicles, utilizing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the payroll cycle workflow to guarantee that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and reconciled, utilizing Excel for precise calculations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly expatriate payrolls.
  • Input personal master data into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including salary details, tax deductions, and direct deposit information.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee payroll records.
  • Verify timesheets and clock data to ensure compliance with established policies and processing guidelines.
  • Generate and analyze attendance audit reports to identify discrepancies and rectify payroll data prior to processing.
  • Provide tailored reports to various departments, including Headquarters, Finance, and Production, as needed.
  • Conduct accounting reconciliations, manage returned funds, and handle ACH rejects.
  • Assist new employees in completing necessary state and federal documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in payroll processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in processing payroll using standard operating systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and projects to meet payroll and reporting deadlines accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiarity with SAP and best practices in timekeeping.
