About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Risk Governance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining effective controls for model development processes within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quarterly control results reviews and independent assessments against model development best practices and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements for modeling teams.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with senior management across Risk, Finance, Technology, and other control functions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of prior experience in the financial services industry in a control discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of counterparty credit risk modeling.
  • Prior experience with independent risk assessment, model governance, and issue management.
  • Prior experience with internal audit exams and external regulatory exams.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, persuasion, and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $176,000 to $265,080.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
