Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Associate to join our team in New York, New York. As a Risk Governance Associate, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the supervisory framework for Sales and Trading, including risk controls, procedures, and systems utilized by the firm's supervisors to perform their supervisory business responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with engineering teams to design, build, and operate effective controls in a Straight Through Processing environment.
  • Enhance risk controls by working on change management related to Fixed Income and Equities products.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders across multiple businesses and functions, including on risk issues, queries, and control improvement projects.
  • Conduct time series analysis and work with large dataset manipulation.
  • Review the control framework for Fixed Income and Equities and identify areas of improvement to increase control effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative or computational field, such as Computer or Systems Engineering, and one year of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative or computational field, and three years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
