About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Datacenter Construction Program Director to join our team at Microsoft Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of datacenter construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of construction project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sourcing, to ensure project delivery.
  • Manage General Contractors (GCs) and vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including project sponsors, architects, and engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft's safety policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in datacenter construction or related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
