In this position, you will have the opportunity to support a business that has expanded since 1912 into the largest concrete subcontractor in the nation, with our construction experts managing over 200 projects that encompass more than 20 million gross square feet annually. With your support, we strive to merge the resources of a large corporation with the agility of a smaller firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and estimating phases of projects to ensure the most effective, safe, and cost-efficient form systems are integrated into the project design.
- Responsible for aiding in the creation of precise formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field teams.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to monitor safety, costs, and schedules of construction initiatives.
- Address and resolve issues related to structural design in conjunction with the project team.
- Support the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Assist in coordinating material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting to ensure optimal use of Ceco's physical resources.
- Engage in special projects and fulfill all other duties as assigned for the overall support of the organization.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to efficiently analyze and organize substantial amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and jobsite productivity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and relevant OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to travel and work for extended periods on projects outside of the office area.
