Job Title: Construction Project Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Superintendent to join our team at McShane Construction Company. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze working drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans, to ensure buildability and identify potential conflicts.
  • Maintain and manage the jobsite, including trailer, signage, material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility access.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety measures and applicable company programs to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, focusing on identifying critical paths to meet desired schedules.
  • Conduct periodic project inspections and monitor labor productivity to ensure adherence to original budgets.
  • Review project construction documents and identify required material quantities, monitoring actual project material quantity requirements.
  • Implement and coordinate quality assurance programs to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Design/build experience preferred.
  • Rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete experience preferred.
  • College education a plus.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, and methods.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven record of building on schedule.
  • Ability to identify, investigate, and quantify project problems and corresponding alternatives and consequences.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work productively with others and foster solid client relationships.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
