Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Management Director to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the successful expansion and delivery of our As A Service (aaS) delivery model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction-focused activities from early in the sales cycle through post-construction operations hand-off
  • Lead the project development team and assist the sales team to prepare customer deliverables
  • Develop and maintain a public relations strategy for the project and promote our program to have positive outcomes for the community
  • Collaborate with Area General Managers for projects in their geography to maintain profitability and provide general project details
  • Manage the profitable execution of aaS projects and ensure projects in portfolio are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract
  • Develop and adhere to a project execution plan and account management plan for each opportunity
  • Establish customer touch points throughout the life cycle of projects to gain feedback on customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects in portfolio to leadership as required and provide monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin for the project execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project/Construction Management
  • 5-10 years of construction management experience
  • Deep understanding of as a Service (aaS) delivery model and the multiple contract structures / financial structures associated with them
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software suite along with Adobe products and ability to become proficient in Project Management Software tools including Procore and Primavera
  • Ability to lead, develop and coach people at different levels and matrix manage teams
