Oncology Research Coordinator

We are looking for an Oncology Research Coordinator to join our dedicated team, responsible for overseeing oncology clinical trials. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying suitable clinical trials, performing feasibility assessments, screening potential participants, and providing education to patients and their families regarding the research process. Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate closely with physicians, regulatory personnel, and study sponsors to ensure effective study execution and adherence to established protocols. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to enhancing the clinical research service line within our oncology initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with at least two years of clinical experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in clinical research, OR
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of four years of clinical experience, OR
  • Certification in clinical research with three years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a health-related discipline
  • One year of experience in oncology
  • Experience in clinical research and phlebotomy
  • Certification in research (CCRC, CCRP)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Join a Clinical Research Professional organization within one year of employment
  • Work collaboratively with research personnel, physicians, and the community
  • Travel may be required for attending relevant meetings
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-pressure situations
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in English
  • Flexible work schedule and reliable transportation
