Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Technician to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Support Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures
  • Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation
  • Measure and record vital signs, patient height, and weight
  • Collect specimens, perform skin preps/scrubs, and provide basic wound care
  • Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by healthcare providers and document patient understanding
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry and quality assurance audits
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Requires six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience
