As a Cloud Security Solutions Consultant, you will serve as the authority on our security solutions across various public cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure. Your role will involve:

  • Engaging with clients as our specialist in cloud security, addressing inquiries from technical staff to executive leadership.
  • Leading discussions on industry developments and security challenges that clients must navigate when transitioning critical assets to the cloud.
  • Evaluating competitive offerings and effectively positioning our solutions as the optimal choice.
  • Coordinating and supporting client demonstrations that highlight our unique value propositions.
  • Communicating with clients both in-person and remotely with equal effectiveness.
  • Developing and curating a repository of automation scripts and templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to gather requirements and enhance product features based on client feedback.
  • Providing design consultation and best practice recommendations during the pre-sales phase for strategic initiatives.
  • Leading advanced proof-of-concept testing for significant accounts, either on-site or in our lab facilities.
  • Delivering training on product updates and enhancements to other Systems Engineers in the region.
  • Conducting demonstrations for key prospects and existing clients, showcasing our comprehensive virtual offerings.
  • Assisting in the onboarding and training of new Systems Engineers in their respective regions.
  • Facilitating advanced training for Partner Systems Engineers regarding updates in our product suite.
  • Building relationships with emerging cloud partners essential for acquiring new top-tier clients.
  • Enhancing relationships with existing partners in the public cloud sector.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, firewalls, and other security technologies, both from a technical and business perspective.
  • Proven experience in securing cloud environments.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with over 8 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or systems integrator.
  • Solid understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, along with scripting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of AWS and Azure routing and security.
  • Background in L2-L4 networking, network security, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Experience in selling, demonstrating, installing, and troubleshooting network security products.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
  • Self-driven with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex issues systematically.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to achieving results.
  • Experience working with channel partners and an understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking security environments.
  • Experience in configuring virtual environments and understanding security threats such as exploits and malware.
  • Possession of a US Government security clearance is advantageous.
