Job Summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing project controls and management of multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Controls: Oversee and execute project controls, including quantity collection, scheduling, contract administration, project planning and scheduling, procurement, and project reporting.
  • Interfacing with Stakeholders: Interface with all areas affected by the project, including clients, engineering/design, subcontractors, distributors, vendors, and project management.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to project management and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and that all quality documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Cost Management: Manage project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and task assignment.
  • Procurement: Manage procurement activities, including purchasing and subcontracting.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to project management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Field Engineer or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in project management software.
