Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Specialist to join our team at Craft Recruiting. As a Scaffolding Specialist, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding, operating heavy equipment, and completing various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, including locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
  • Scaffolding Erection: Identify all tools required for tasks and measure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to required specifications.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Erect and disassemble scaffolding for buildings and other structures, and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
  • Rigging and Scaffolding: Construct, re-enforce, and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds, and build and construct wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
  • Project Execution: Perform work involving rigging of equipment loads, and ensure compliance with all safety and project rules.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess working knowledge skills and abilities for the position, including the ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Constantly move about a construction/industrial site, stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, and work in a construction environment exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions.
  • Work Environment: Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required, and be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
