Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Technology Specialist to join our team at Ultium Cells LLC. As an Equipment Technology Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our battery cell manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, control, and provide modification and improvement of equipment to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to equipment malfunctions and chronic errors.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and report major errors to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Monitor and ensure continuous operation of machines to minimize downtime and reduce breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with production and process engineers to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Support production and maintenance teams in solving technical problems and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate activities of employees engaged in production, maintenance, and inspection.
  • Analyze production results and implement strategies to improve equipment uptime and availability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • 0-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to use logical thinking and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and technical principles, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, with ability to write reports and communicate orally.
