In this position, you will collaborate with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and local authorities to supervise Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations on various construction initiatives in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensure that all construction components align with the designated plans and specifications.
  • Document construction quantities for precise payment processing.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation and reports.
  • Review and oversee daily traffic management strategies.
  • Guarantee adherence to erosion control standards.
  • Address questions and discrepancies related to construction payment quantities.
  • Maintain a detailed daily log of project activities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant CEI experience.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Experience in transportation construction oversight.
  • Preferred certifications include Safety Training, Concrete Field Testing, and Hot Mix Asphalt Roadway Certifications.
  • Familiarity with Site Manager Software and Roadway Plans is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.
