Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to complete insurance applications
  • Assist in summarizing insurance policies, schedules, and proposals
  • Process certificates of insurance and manage property information
  • Support Account Executives in the submission of new business and renewals
  • Document client and carrier interactions within the agency system
  • Assist the Risk Management team with analytical tasks
  • Track and document claims in the agency system
Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • College Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Familiarity with Property & Casualty agency management systems

Required:

  • Proficient in computer usage and common Microsoft applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Possession of a Michigan/Illinois Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
