About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team at Ferrotec. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the General and Manufacturing Accounting and Financial Reporting functions, as well as the financial services areas including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, fixed assets, insurance, and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain a system of internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and compliance with financial policies, J-SOX, and US GAAP.
  • Responsible for the overall integrity, accuracy, and timely completion of the company's internal and external financial statements.
  • Provide technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company locations, including involvement in due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions/dispositions and asset impairment.
  • Ensure proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules, involving significant interaction with Sales and Customer Service groups.
  • Supervise the completion of Federal and State tax reporting requirements, insurance reports, and other reports required by government regulation.
  • Manage the relationship with internal and external auditors, and coordinate work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records.
  • Ensure that the accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel capable of meeting the objectives and responsibilities noted above.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent and/or CPA.
  • At minimum 10 years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience within a multinational business.
  • Accounting background including General Ledger, AR, AP, account reconciliation, month-end close activities, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Thorough understanding of sales and manufacturing functions.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • FloQast experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work independently.
