Job Description

Ferrotec is a world-class diversified manufacturer with a commitment to providing pure precision solutions to our customers. We are seeking a passionate and can-do attitude Metal Machining/Build to Print Senior Sales Manager to join our strategic key account management team.

The successful candidate will lead the customer service team and the factories while realizing strategic sales communications and alignments with the customer. This is a unique opportunity to experience rapid growth of the business, technology, and yourself through your business leadership, regardless of your level of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue and increase market share by identifying and selling to prospective accounts through research and networking.
  • Maintain relationships for new and existing accounts to protect and grow existing business opportunities.
  • Develop key account plans to align resources to support company growth objectives with major customers/opportunities.
  • Identify the need for new products and work with Marketing, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D to assist in new product development initiatives targeted to the needs of the key account(s).
  • Generate both short-term and long-term rolling forecasts for revenue and product/volume mix.
  • Give input to the marketing group to support the goal of establishing and implementing promotional, advertising, and communication strategies.
  • Benchmark our products with the competition from a technical and business perspective and monitor competitive forces that could compromise our position.
Requirements
  • BS degree or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience including 5+ years of account management experience in Vacuum and Thin Film Industry.
  • Metal Machining/Build to Print sales or engineering experience is desirable.
  • Advanced material solution (Ceramics, Quartz, Silicon, CVD SiC, etc.) sales or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Metal machining, Metal surface treatments and cleaning processes for sales communication (other advanced material experience can be transferable).
  • Semiconductor experience (preferred, but not a must).
  • Project management and Problem-solving skills (not problem pointing-out but solving).
  • Communication skill.
  • Data analysis skill.
  • Goal/Mission-oriented and Self-driven personality.
  • Detail oriented.
