The Clinical Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and assessing the performance of Care Coordinators and a dedicated team of Community Support Workers. This position collaborates closely with the Site Director to formulate, strategize, and execute plans for program sustainability and expansion. The Clinical Manager is also responsible for delivering clinical training to staff and ensuring the quality of clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Safeguard the confidentiality of consumer treatment records.
- Gather insights about consumers through interviews, assessments, and evaluations to identify areas requiring ongoing support and treatment.
- Deliver therapeutic services to consumers via individual, family, and group sessions, adhering to current research and professional standards.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and biopsychosocial assessments, along with clinical notes and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and implement clinical training programs for staff, ensuring adherence to MBI standards.
- Provide expert consultation and support to staff, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes excellence in clinical care.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of MBI services to address community mental health needs.
- Facilitate follow-up and aftercare planning services as necessary.
- Offer emergency services during assigned hours.
- Supervise a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, promoting an interdisciplinary approach to care delivery.
- Participate in staff meetings and supervisory sessions to ensure effective clinical operations.
- Ensure that Community Support Workers meet their weekly service hours.
- Provide oversight to transition facilitators, including document reviews and feedback on consumer interactions.
- All duties must comply with the District of Columbia's Mental Health Standards and applicable laws.
- Complete a minimum of ten billable hours weekly.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Licensure in Washington DC as LPC or LICSW is required.
- Preferred experience in Mental and Behavioral Health: 2 years.
- Preferred supervisory experience: 1-3 years.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
COMPETITIVE SALARY UP TO $90,000.00
