Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

At Aveanna Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes observing and assessing patient condition, documenting all activities and assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance
Work Environment:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will work in a variety of environments, including homes and healthcare facilities. The ability to function in a wide range of settings and adapt to changing situations is essential.
