Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes observing and assessing patient condition, documenting all activities and care, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, documenting all activities and care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
