Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Riverside Medical Clinic. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, taking vital signs and recording patient information.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, documenting time, dosage, and route.
  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) under the supervision of a physician or allied health professional.
  • Initiate intravenous lines, add plain IV fluids, and discontinue lines under the direction of a physician or allied health professional.
  • Participate in patient education, communicating effectively with patients and their families.
  • Inventory and order medical supplies and materials as needed.
Requirements
  • Current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing.
  • Two years' experience preferred working as an LVN in a multi-specialty group setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and IV certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
