Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer invoicing, maintain accounts receivable documentation, and ensure prompt cash collections.
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate posting to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Conduct credit card reconciliations, ensuring correct coding for each transaction in the Expensify platform.
- Assist the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end closing activities, adhering to established accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with payroll consultants for timely preparation of timecards and payroll reports, and oversee specific financial operations and projects as directed.
- Ensure timely reporting of all monthly financial data and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Manage daily banking tasks, transaction processing, and assist with monthly and quarterly bank compliance activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to guarantee the accuracy of financial data, supporting overall departmental objectives.
- Analyze departmental workflows to develop more efficient procedures while maintaining high accuracy levels.
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and participate in financial audits.
- Address ad-hoc financial inquiries from management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental accounting procedures and principles.
- Experience with the full cycle of accounts receivable is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional analytical and numerical abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal abilities.
