Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Account Manager to enhance our Advertising Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our advertising collaborations on the Nextdoor platform. Your focus will be on partnering with brands and agencies to facilitate successful advertising campaigns while collaborating with product management and engineering teams to optimize our offerings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all facets of an advertiser's campaign, from onboarding to execution.
  • Developing and nurturing strong relationships with brand and agency partners, ensuring effective communication for campaign success.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by actively monitoring campaign performance and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Leading data-driven discussions to retain and expand advertising partnerships.
  • Utilizing internal tools to analyze and enhance campaign performance.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on our platform, understanding customer challenges and how our solutions can address them.
  • Creating and presenting strategic insights, campaign summaries, and business reviews to clients.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Engaging in team-building activities and events to foster a positive work culture.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-4 years of experience in account management or client services within a digital media or advertising environment.
  • Strong grasp of campaign strategy, execution, and optimization in a platform-based media buying context.
  • Proven track record of maintaining and growing client relationships.
  • Experience in enhancing brand visibility and performance metrics.
  • A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • A commitment to community engagement and fostering an inclusive team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

Nextdoor offers a comprehensive rewards package that includes a competitive salary structure with base pay and commission based on performance. The anticipated total compensation ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, with potential for higher earnings based on proficiency and achievement.

We also provide an equity grant for this position, with quarterly vesting starting within the first three months of employment.
