Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Acquisition Specialist (Procurement) Analyst to enhance our operations. This role is integral to the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office.

Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities: Assist in the creation of program acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Documentation (PID), Statements of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA). Evaluate program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for adherence to specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Engage in various activities such as:

  • Collaborating with Program Management Teams (PMT) and Contract Support Teams (CSPT)
  • Providing Procurement Process Control (PPC) support along with general acquisition assistance
  • Utilizing knowledge and experience with Acquisition Management Systems (AMS) to ensure effective performance
  • Supporting the development of comprehensive program acquisition documentation
  • Assessing compliance of program procedures and documentation
  • Participating in and contributing to briefs, reports, correspondence, meetings, and review boards

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with allowable substitutions including an associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant work experience, or four (4) years of additional work experience in related duties.
  • Experience: A minimum of three to ten years of experience in roles similar to those described in the functional responsibilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements.
