Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a Senior Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst to join our Acquisition Team. This role is integral to supporting program management and ensuring compliance with relevant directives.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Draft and support program milestone documentation to ensure adherence to DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives.
- Assist in the creation of essential acquisition documents, including Capabilities Production Documents (CPD), Acquisition Plans (AP), and Statement of Work (SOW).
- Evaluate program procedures and documentation for compliance with specifications and mission requirements.
- Participate in and provide insights during meetings, conferences, and review boards.
Additional Duties:
Responsibilities may also include:
- Preparing documentation for Acquisition Plans, Procurement Initiation Documents, and contract awards.
- Facilitating Procurement Planning Conferences and related agreements.
- Reviewing and tracking Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and contract deliverables.
- Providing input on briefs, reports, and correspondence.
- Integrating business and technical methodologies to support acquisition and lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a MA/MS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in developing Capabilities Production Documents and Acquisition Strategy Reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting NAVAIR acquisition programs and prior service in the United States Navy or Marine Corps is highly desirable.
Substitution Policy:
A Bachelor's Degree plus two years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a Master's Degree. Alternatively, an Associate's Degree plus four years of experience or six years of additional experience may also be considered.
All candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of the work.
