Role Overview:
The Pathologist Assistant will work on a full-time basis during the day shift, utilizing advanced technology to handle surgical pathology specimens. Responsibilities include:
- Accessioning surgical pathology specimens
- Performing tissue biopsies and frozen sections
- Collaborating across all areas of surgical pathology
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have completed an accredited Pathologist Assistant program and possess either:
- A Pathologist Assistant (PA) ASCP Certificate
- The State of New York Pathologist Assistant License
