- NYC Health + Hospitals/Carter (EAST HARLEM): A leading specialty care hospital and nursing facility dedicated to providing quality medical, sub-acute, rehabilitative, and long-term specialty services.
- NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler (ROOSEVELT ISLAND): An 815-bed nursing facility committed to providing quality medical, sub-acute, rehabilitative, and long-term specialty services. We specialize in geriatric, memory care, and rehabilitation services.
- NYC Health + Hospitals/Gouverneur (MANHATTAN): Offers primary and specialty outpatient care through its Diagnostic and Treatment Center (D&TC) and residential care for the elderly and infirmed in its 295-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- NYC Health + Hospitals/McKinney (BROOKLYN): Provides high-quality short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care in a person-centered environment. Job Description
- Collaborate in the development of policies, objectives, and standards for nursing services and education.
- Contribute to the creation of administrative procedures and patient care programs.
- Oversee the planning, organization, direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing services within a major clinical division or home health agency. This may include participating in the selection, placement, and follow-up of patients transferred to homes.
- Assist with the planning, organization, and implementation of a comprehensive nursing education program.
- Assume responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing services during evening and night shifts.
- Direct the activities of Supervisor of Nurses.
- Prepare and deliver periodic and daily reports on administrative matters related to staff and patient management.
- Participate in the direction and implementation of a quality assurance program for nursing.
- Lead and chair regular staff meetings with nursing personnel.
- Assess nursing services through rounds, chart reviews, and evaluations of patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possess a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in nursing leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
- Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
