Overview

At First City Recovery Centers LLC, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for our patients. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives individualized care tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify problem areas and develop effective treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address patients' individual needs and goals.
  4. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  5. Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews and contribute to the development of treatment goals and objectives.
  7. Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to share their experiences and gain insight into their problems.
  8. Develop and maintain healthy boundaries with patients, while also providing empathetic and non-judgmental support.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in addiction recovery and mental health treatment.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements

Education: Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.

Experience: Two years of work experience in the mental health field.

Licensure/Certification: Licensure and/or (Intern License) to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable, required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counselor, and/or Certified Addiction Professional.

Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrates proficiency in communication, observation, and written skills.

Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.

Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.

Knowledge of Workplace Violence.

Knowledge of Corporate Integrity and Ethics.

Knowledge of addictions.

Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.

Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.

Knowledge and competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building.

Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs.

Age-Specific Individuals Served/Responsibility: Adults.

Other Qualifications: Familiar with community resources.
