Job Title: Clinical Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our team at First City Recovery Centers LLC. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient issues and develop treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
  3. Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions to promote self-disclosure and group process skills.
  4. Provide individual counseling to patients and their families to address specific needs and concerns.
  5. Document patient progress and interventions in the medical record.
  6. Respond to psychiatric and medical emergency situations as needed.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Two years of work experience in the mental health field.
  • Licensure and/or certification to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
  • Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program.
