Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify problem areas and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives individualized care tailored to their specific needs.
  3. Develop and implement interventions to achieve treatment goals and objectives.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, adhering to program policies and licensing and accrediting agency requirements.
  5. Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to share their experiences and gain insight into their problems.
  6. Provide individual counseling to patients, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  8. Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the welfare of the organization.
  9. Pursue professional development through education and training programs.
Requirements

Education: Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.

Experience: Two years of work experience in the mental health field.

Licensure/Certification: Licensure and/or intern license to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable.

Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrates proficiency in communication, observation, and written skills.

Knowledge of state and federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.

Knowledge of drug-free workplace policies.

Knowledge of workplace violence.

Knowledge of corporate integrity and ethics.

Knowledge of addictions.

Ability to interact with a multidisciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.

Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.

Knowledge and competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building.

Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs.

Age-Specific Individuals Served/Responsibility: Adults.

Other Qualifications: Familiarity with community resources.
