About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our team at First City Recovery Centers LLC. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop integrated summaries to identify problem areas that may affect treatment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that effectively address patient issues and have clearly stated treatment goals and objectives.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews and demonstrate adequate preparation and understanding of patient issues, progress, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions to create an atmosphere that facilitates self-disclosure, group process skills, and insight into problems.
- Document patient progress and interventions provided in the medical record on an ongoing basis.
- Recognize, respond to, and assist in psychiatric crisis situations and provide necessary interventions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
- Two years of work experience in the mental health field.
- Licensure and/or certification to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable.
- Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
- Knowledge of addictions and the 12-Step Recovery Program.
- Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.
