Overview

The Event Setup Specialist is responsible for the arrangement, upkeep, and dismantling of all event spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a welcoming, attentive, and courteous demeanor towards all guests, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ensure the precise and timely arrangement of all Banquet Event Order activities.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the banquet areas, including pre-function spaces and storage zones, ensuring that carpets, walls, walkways, doors, windows, and HVAC units are well-maintained.
  • Keep the banquet storage area organized and stocked with necessary supplies for meetings and food service events.
  • Be knowledgeable about fire exits and extinguisher locations, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Disassemble setups after events and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored correctly.
  • Transport and securely store tables, chairs, and other necessary equipment.
  • Refresh meeting rooms as required.
  • Report any safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Handle lost and found items in accordance with established procedures.
  • Strive to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with relevant experience in a hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility with work hours is essential.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds consistently.
  • Capability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
