Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV solutions and sterile products.
- Conduct audits and research to maintain the integrity of our pharmacy programs.
- Enter data into computer systems and verify accuracy.
- Order medications from wholesalers and manage inventory.
- Coordinate medication-related issues for patients, providers, and clinic staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician in NM within 60 days.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
This position requires working in a hospital setting with exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
